# Calypso Paired Details

This page provides a statistical comparison of paired data (e.g. by paired t-test or paired rank test). For example, paired-analysis can be used to examine microbial compositino before and after treatment or to study microbial communities sampled from different locations of the same person (e.g. right hand vs. left hand). Choose time points or locations that should be compared by setting the *Secondary Group* option. Make sure to select different values for G1 and G2. Only those individuals are included for which samples at both time points are available.

###### DiversityScatter

Scatter plot of community diversity. Each dot represents the diversity of one individual at two selected secondary groups (G1 versus G2).

###### TaxaScatter

Scatter plot of OTU/taxa abundance. Each dot represents the abundance of the selected OTU/taxa of one individual at two selected secondary groups (G1 versus G2). Taxa/OTUs can be selected via the "Taxa" drop-down menu.

##### BubblePlot

Differences in OTU/taxa abundances are shown as bubble plot.

##### StatsTable

P-values and false discovery rate for paired statistical analysis (paired t-test or paired Wilcoxon rank test).

#### Options

Option | Description |

Test | Statistical test used for the paired analysis, e.g. paired t-test or paired Wilcoxon rank test. |

Sample IDs | Show sample IDs in scatter plots. |

Taxa | A scatter plot is drawn for the selected taxon/OTU. |
